flying propeller

Just like that, without any extra work, you can launch your propeller into the sky. Quite an interesting game. With several people you can organize competitions and have a good time. . .

For construction flying propeller we will need:

Wood block approximately 20 cm long and a centimeter and a half thick.
Rotation axisI am also made of wood, you can take a pencil.
Drill with a drill. The diameter of the drill should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the axis.
Glue. PVA is perfect.
Knife.

Ruler in inches.
We mark the center in the center of the block and drill a hole for the axle.

Let's take the knife. Be extremely careful When performing this stage of work, try not to cause cuts or injuries to yourself!

Try to give the most correct shape to the propeller blades. Don't forget about symmetry around the axis of rotation. Remember that the thinner the blades you machine, the lighter your propeller will be. A lighter propeller takes off easier, but is also less inert and more susceptible to wind. Try to maintain a balance between the thickness and weight of the propeller. The axis of rotation must be thick enough not to break when launched, but there is no need for extra thickness. The length of the axis of rotation should be 20-25 centimeters. The axle can be glued to the blades and secured with a button on the top side for reliability.

Starting the propeller is quite easy. It is necessary to hold the axle between your palms, rotate it and finally release the twisted propeller.

If you wish, you can paint your propeller to your taste using regular felt-tip pens or paint.

This is what a proper launch looks like:

Happy launches!

It's called the "FLY" Helicopter. In aviation clubs they do things a little differently applause
