Making “Aquamarine” soap
Soap making is a wonderful hobby that brings pleasure to those who do it. The process of making soap at home is quite simple, interesting and exciting. In a specialized store you can only buy soap bases; other products can be either specialized or improvised.
I offer a simple but interesting recipe for homemade soap.
For Aquamarine soap you need:
1. White soap base.
2. Transparent soap base.
3. Any base oils (shea butter, grape seed, peach, etc.).
4. Fragrances or essential oils as desired.
5. Plastic rectangular container (a processed Hochland cheese container works great).
6. Cosmetic dye “Aquamarine”.
7. Wooden skewer.
8. Alcohol.
9. Dishes for melting the base.
10. Knife.
Let's first prepare a plastic container, wash it, wipe it dry and spray it with alcohol from a spray bottle. We heat the transparent soap base, enrich it with oils and aromas, add a few drops of dye and stir it thoroughly with a wooden skewer. Pour the resulting mixture into the container and wait for it to harden.If you want to get all the soap in swirls, then you don’t need to wait for complete hardening, you need to pour the next layer.
While the first layer hardens, melt equal amounts of white soap base in different jars, leave one part white, and paint the other with the same Aquamarine color. Don't forget about fragrances and base oils.
Sprinkle the frozen layer in the container with alcohol, pour the colored base onto it, when it sets a little, pour the white base on top, it should be warm, but not hot! Otherwise everything will just get mixed up. We disperse the bubbles with alcohol and wait for the bar to harden. It comes out very easily!
We trim off just a little of the uneven edges of the bar (they are rounded to fit the shape of the container) and cut the bar into individual pieces of soap, enjoying the beautiful color of the top base and the intricate patterns of the bottom!
