Bobonniere in pastel colors
Vintage boxes are always attractive and interesting. You can make a round bobonniere from cardboard rolls of adhesive tape and other materials that the needlewoman always has in her closet.
Materials:
• Two tight sleeves of adhesive tape;
• thick cardboard;
• glue;
• shadows;
• brush;
• beads;
• dye;
• napkins.
Stages of work:
1. Coat both bushings with primer using a brush, mixing white paint with glue.
2. Cut two circles from cardboard, slightly larger than the size of the sleeves, also primed if the color is gray.
3. Cover all parts with the top layer of napkins, placing their scraps on a thick layer of glue.
4. Connect the circles and bushings, place them on glue, and hold them under pressure. Make a connecting element from a piece of braid and glue it.
5. Decorate the top and bottom with beads.
6. Using your finger, blend the pearlescent shadows over the entire surface of the box. Cover the beads with a white primer and also apply shadows diluted with glue on them.
7. Add an accent with a white primer, leaving the brush half dry, apply light strokes. If necessary, fix with varnish.
After spending just one evening with benefit and pleasure, you can make a beautiful retro-style bobonniere to store your jewelry.
