Oven cleaning process
Before cleaning, remove baking sheets and racks from the oven. All loose carbon particles should be swept away with a brush and discarded.
Mix a cup of baking soda and 2 tbsp in a deep bowl or saucepan. vinegar. A little water is added to them to make a paste.
The latter is applied with a sponge or brush to the dirty interior surfaces in the oven. In this smeared state, it should stand overnight or at least 8 hours with the door closed.
Or, there is a faster option: close the door and turn on the oven at 70-90 degrees Celsius for 30-60 minutes. The pan with the solution must be placed there. But keep in mind that long soaking still gives the best result.
Dirty grates should be moistened with vinegar. Then they are sprinkled with soda and filled with hot water.
After a while, the stove needs to be washed from soda.
Along with it, pockets of soot will disappear. Where they remain in small quantities, you can add a little more pure soda and sprinkle it with vinegar.
The oven is completely washed of soda residues. Small dirty areas can be cleaned very quickly with a melamine sponge. It will take much longer to rub with a regular napkin. Then you can remove the grate and also scrub it.
This method allows you to clean even the dirtiest oven without resorting to aggressive chemicals. Although it is longer, it eliminates damage to the enamel.
