Topiary made from magazine tubes
To create a topiary you will need:
COSMOFEN glue is applied to the edge of the polypropylene tube, crumpled paper from glossy magazines is wound, tightly rewound with thread, and the base for the barrel is ready.
Two magazine tubes are placed crosswise, a working stick is added to them and weaving is done in a circle by overlapping the tubes on top of each other. The base of the trunk is placed in the center of the weaving, around which spiral weaving is made. When the entire trunk is woven, the top is wrapped with the last tubes and greased with PVA glue.
A circle with a diameter of 15 cm is cut out of a sheet of cardboard, and a finished tree trunk is glued onto it.
The entire product is coated with varnish, a cedar-colored wood impregnation, and left to dry.
A ball is rolled out of crumpled sheets of various types of paper, rewound tightly with thread and glued on top with a green napkin using PVA glue. A napkin is also glued to the ball, which is subsequently cut into leaves.
Flowers are twisted from red, pink and yellow napkins; 41 of them will be needed for this model. Squares are cut from a green napkin and rolled into a cone, similar to a leaf. Circles are cut out from other squares, fastened several pieces together with a stationery stapler. The edges of the circles are cut, then each layer is collected in the center and crushed, creating a flower.
Using COSMOFEN universal glue, the ball is attached to the tree trunk. Flowers along with leaves are glued to the surface of the ball with the same glue. Flowers made from green napkins are glued to the base of the tree, creating the effect of green grass.
