Children's clay craft "Piglet"
The child loves to sculpt crafts from plasticine? This is good. Only such works of art are one-day works. When the room is warm, plasticine melts, changes shape, and can also stain expensive furniture. Why not replace plasticine with a natural material in the form of clay? The product turns out more solid, the work is more exciting, and the result retains its original appearance for a long time. We offer an idea for a clay craft based on the fairy tale “The Three Little Pigs”. We start sculpting the character from the head. On the round and slightly flattened muzzle we put a flat patch with two holes. We make the nostrils with a match. Naf-Naf's ears are in the form of drops, pointed on the outside. If you leave the hearing organs round, then it is impossible to distinguish the animal from a bear. And the patch doesn't help. In the presented version, Naf-Naf shows everyone a flat tongue. Part of the craft is ready. From the side of the neck, insert a toothpick into the head.
The body should be larger in size than the head. Make it round and flattened. Two hands - clay tubes placed on the sides.Since the pig is fabulous, we put a shirt on it, that is, we highlight the sleeves and bottom of the clothes with rolled clay strips. Additionally, we designate a place for buttons. Ready.
We stick the head on a toothpick (match) into the neck area, as in the photo.
We sculpt massive legs, bending our feet at approximately an angle of 90 °C.
Using half a match we attach the legs to the body.
The picture shows the souvenir in a sitting position.
We send the finished craft to dry in a secluded place for a day. When the clay becomes lighter, it's time to paint the pig. In the image, Naf-Naf became multi-colored thanks to ordinary watercolors and a brush. They also drew the eyes and colored the tongue.
It turned out to be a good craft. You can start creating the pig brothers Nif-Nif and Nuf-Nuf. Children will love modeling these characters with clay. A simple and exciting activity contributes to the creative development of the child. The use of natural materials and natural products allows you to feel and see nature, which is very important for modern children.
