Piece of grapefruit cake
We will need: polymer clay (brown and white), a stationery knife, toothpicks or an awl, acrylic paint, a plastic grapefruit sausage, tweezers.
1. Roll out a small piece of brown plastic into a layer 1.4-1.7 millimeters thick. Cut out a triangle with a knife.
2. Roll out a small piece of white plastic into a layer 1.4-1.7 millimeters thick. Place the cut out triangle on it.
3. Press the brown triangle onto the white layer and trim along the edges. Place the resulting piece on a layer of brown plastic with the white side. Cut along the edges again, but this time do not press. Set the brown triangle aside.
4. Take the pin and place it on the white side as shown in the photo. Stick a brown triangle on top. The pin is needed in order to later make a keychain or pendant out of the cake.
5. Take an awl or toothpick. Use small circular motions to create texture along the long sides of the piece.
6.You can stick small pieces of brown plastic to the short side with a toothpick, which will imitate chocolate chips.
7. Apply white acrylic paint no more than a millimeter thick to the cake with a toothpick.
8. Take grapefruit sausage. You can buy it or make it yourself. Slice the sausage.
9. Using tweezers, place the slices onto the cake.
10. Make small circles from the remains of white and brown plastic and place them on the cake with a toothpick. Press lightly.
11. Bake the cake in the air fryer. The temperature and baking time are indicated on the packaging of the clay you used to sculpt.
After baking, coat the product with varnish. A piece of cake is ready! You can make a keychain or pendant from this blank. You can make a lot of small cakes and assemble them into a bracelet, earrings or a necklace. Imagine!
