Fans with roses made of corrugated
This interior composition is made of delicate and romantic shades. This fan will be an excellent gift for friends and family. But it can also be a wonderful decoration in the interior of your home.
For work we will need:
- skewers.
- corrugated paper: pink, hot pink, crimson, white.
- board.
- glue gun.
- mesh.
- beads.
- silver paint.
- foil.
- scissors.
- threads.
Let's start by preparing the base for the fan. The base of the fan will be skewers.
Take white paper and cut it into strips measuring 10x1 cm, cut the strips across the grain. And we stretch it to the limit. We will wrap it and tighten the skewer. Using a glue gun, glue the paper to the skewer. We will need 12 of these glued skewers.
Let's start assembling the fan. To do this, glue two skewers at an angle of 45 degrees. Let the glue dry. We glue everything well so that it doesn’t come off later.
Thus, we glue the remaining skewers.
Now that the glue on the base of the fan has dried, we will need to paste over the places where the skewers are glued together. To do this, take a strip of white paper measuring 5x1 cm, stretch it to the limit and tighten it around the bottom of the base to cover the traces of gluing in the skewers.
Now that the base is ready, we will decorate it. To do this, let's take beads. There will also be 12 of them. Take a bead and glue it to the sharp tip of a skewer. It’s like threading a bead into a skewer.
We also process all beads with skewers.
Now it's time for the flowers that will decorate our fan. Rose petals will come in two sizes. The first ones, which are smaller, will be 8x5 cm, the second ones will be 10x8 cm. For one rose we will need 5 small ones and 3 large ones.
We begin to give the petals a new shape. Trim the top corners in a semicircle.
Use a knitting needle or skewer to curl the semicircular edges of the petal. Use your fingers to make a depression in the middle of the workpiece. But we don’t touch one small petal; it remains without curled edges.
Thus, we process all the workpieces we need.
We take this raw petal and stretch its middle. This will be the middle of the flower. Now let's prepare the inside for our center.
Take foil measuring 10x30 cm and crumple it into a ball. This will be the filling for the center of the flower. Instead of foil, you can use a more delicious filling, for example, round-shaped candies. Then the fan will be not only beautiful, but also a very tasty gift.
Take our ball of foil and place it in the middle of the base.
Then carefully roll up the base, making a pointed corner at the top.
Take a thread and tightly tie the edge of the base, under the ball.
We also cut off the bottom edge of our petals. Making the bottom edge whiter and rounder. And now, using a glue gun, we attach the petal to the base.
We attach the next petal to our base.
Glue all the remaining small petals.
And then we attach all the big petals. Well, our flower is ready. We make the rest of the flowers in the same way. We will need 4 light pink flowers. There will be 5 colors of hot pink. You need 2 raspberries.
Now it’s time to decorate the base of skewers into a beautiful fan. For this we need a gray mesh with shiny inserts. The mesh will be 30x30 cm in size. Cut off an even square. But we do this very carefully so that it does not start to crumble.
First, glue the mesh to the bottom of the fan base. Glue the mesh well to the fan. And let the glue dry.
We stretch the mesh a little and thread the skewers with beads into the holes of the mesh. And glue the mesh to each skewer. Then, when everything is glued and dry, we carefully cut off the unnecessary edges of the mesh that protrude beyond the edges of the fan.
Now it's time for the board. It will be 35x10 cm in size. Clean the surface and apply silver paint on top. We are waiting for the paint to dry. And only then do we begin further work.
We fix the fan on the board as follows. The edge of the fan protrudes slightly beyond the board. And attached to the back of the board. Leaving space in front for flowers.
Take 1 crimson and 2 light pink flowers and glue them together. Leaving the crimson flower in the middle.
Now we attach these flowers to the fan and board.
Then we gradually glue the remaining flowers. In order one after another.
Thus, we secure the remaining flowers, except one.
And we fix the last remaining flower on the fan. Cut the mesh a little and insert a flower into the hole. We glue the mesh with the flower on all sides. Let the glue dry. The flower will be attached to the top of the fan.Between the first and second skewer.
Glue a bead to the opposite edge of the board, from the flowers.
We also attach beads to the flowers. Creating unique elegance to our fan. OK it's all over Now. Our wonderful fan is ready.
Good luck to all.
