Pansy earrings
Summer is ending, but I still want to be bright and attractive. And what season can stop a girl from creating charming beaded earrings for herself!? To create long “Pansy” earrings you will need a little patience, perseverance and inspiration. For the latter, a fairly detailed master class and no lover of needlework will be able to resist making such a decoration for her ears. So let's get started.
- bead needle and fishing line,
- rings (2 pieces) and earrings (2 pieces) in silver,
- beads of blue, light blue, milky, yellow, dark blue, black and light green.
Let's start working. The weaving that we will use is called brick, since visually it seems that the beads lie like bricks. A very simple and beautiful type of weaving. Below are the patterns according to which we will weave. First, the principle of operation will be explained, and then you can complete the work using these diagrams.
1. We string the first milk bead as shown in the photo.
2. Also the next green one.
3. In this way we weave the first row. We weave from left to right.
Then the second row starts from right to left.
4.Now we string a milk bead and insert a needle under the fishing line between the last and penultimate beads of the previous row.
5. Now we use a needle to enter the strung bead, as if creating a loop.
This is what should happen.
6. We finish weaving the second row. And we immediately return the work so that we start from right to left.
7. We look at diagram A. We need to add one bead. How do we do this? Very simple. We collect the first two beads and also pass the needle under the fishing line, as we did in step 5.
We secure it by removing the needle from the green bead.
8. Now the third row is coming to an end.
Here we also need to add one bead. We collect it and insert the needle into the last bead of the previous row.
And we return through the same milk bead.
9. Now, slowly, very carefully, according to pattern A, we weave the top of the earrings. This is how it should turn out.
10. It's time to weave tassels. To do this, you need to remove the thread from the outermost bead of the first row and cast on the amount indicated according to scheme B. Be careful not to mix up the colors.
11. After casting, you need to stretch the thread through all the strung beads, starting from the penultimate one from the end.
12. We leave the last bead of the first row and proceed to the next bead.
So we string the tassels according to scheme B until the end.
And aren’t the products made by your hands adorable!
