Fan made of wooden sticks
In the interior, when the walls are empty and monotonous, it is somehow boring. And if they are decorated with anything, it is usually paintings or panels. And in this case, I propose to pay attention to the panel fan, which, despite its simplicity, will look very elegant and gentle, and will serve as a magnificent decoration for any wall and any room.
For the frame base we will need:
All that remains is to tune in to the right mood and start creating beauty.
1. First, cut out 3 parts from cardboard - 2 lower parts (cocked hat), and one part elongated arc. We mark the rays on the lower part, these will be our sticks. They will need to be glued with their pointed ends to the middle of the bottom. And you choose the number of sticks yourself, I got 13 pieces, but you can make more.
2. As soon as the sticks stick together a little, glue the second cardboard part on top and press it on top with something heavy. You will need to give time for the glue to dry and for everything to stick well, at least half an hour. After this you can glue the arc.
3.Now that the entire structure has become solid, you can start decorating. We mark on the fabric a size larger than the triangular part; we will need an allowance to fold the edges to the background. We fold the fabric on the top and glue it with hot glue, and then glue it to the cardboard, and then fold it and glue the edges on the back side.
4. Now you will need to decorate the arc above. To do this, you can take any ribbon or braid, gather it together, and then glue it to the cardboard. You can use satin, but I found elastic guipure.
5. Then we will have the top. I glued an openwork blue ribbon to the sticks, and then flowers, their size and quantity too, at your discretion.
6. And the final stage is the braiding; it is this that can advantageously fill the empty space and make the fan more noble. It can be done all over the fan. I had leather cords and threads. But this is not important, you can use any thin ribbons, ribbons, strings. We begin to draw each lace in a wave-like manner - onto the stick and under the stick. You don't need to pull too hard. You can immediately glue the edges to the stick. I did it at the end because I was improvising and didn’t yet know what it would look like. Once you have decided and the result is satisfactory, you can trim off the excess and glue the rest.
Such a panel can be hung on the wall either separately or placed on a canvas, it all depends on your taste and desire.
