The process of making an air filter for a home

It is necessary to cut a window in corrugated cardboard to the diameter of the cooler.

The fan is glued into it with hot glue.

The cardboard with the fan is screwed with self-tapping screws to the air filter for the truck. The fan must be positioned with the blower inside the filter. The protruding edges of the cardboard cover are trimmed.


The cooler is connected to the power supply and plugged into an outlet. The fan rotates very quietly, so you can leave it on even at night.With continuous operation over a month, the filter will consume no more than a couple of kW of electricity, which actually costs nothing.

The paper filter element from the car is disposable, so within a few months it will become clogged and will need to be replaced. If the room is very dusty and the performance of such a filter is not enough, then you should use a duct fan instead of a PC cooler. This will allow you to filter large volumes of air, but this will also increase your electricity consumption.
