How to deal with ice on the windshield

In winter, during snowfall, ice constantly appears on the windshield even while driving, since frozen wipers cannot remove water properly. To avoid this, you have to constantly clean everything manually, or use special chemicals such as anti-ice or glass defroster. All these products are not cheap, but there is a cheap solution - silicone grease.

Treating wipers with silicone grease

Regular silicone grease perfectly protects glass from ice. It is simply applied to the wiper blades. Then, when they are turned on, the lubricant is rubbed onto the glass, making it greasy. All precipitation collects on it in the form of drops, which can be easily wiped off by hard, frozen wipers. Even if these drops become ice during parking, they will fall off during cleaning, since they do not adhere to the glass through the lubricant.
