Are the handles on your mosquito net broken? Let's make new PET bottles in a couple of minutes

Due to constant changes in weather conditions, the plastic handles on the mosquito net become fragile. And as soon as you remove the mesh to wash it, the handle bursts and falls off. Of course this is a small thing, but a very unpleasant one.

You can go to the store and look for them on sale. Or you can simply take any plastic bottle and in a few minutes make new handles out of it that will not burst in the future.

You will need the following

• Flat and sharp screwdriver.
• Scissors.
• Plastic bottle.

The simplest instructions for making new handles for a mosquito net

Using a sharp screwdriver, pry up the corkscrew cord in the place where the handle was installed; a piece of it should still stick out.

We bend the cord and take out this fragment. You can throw it away; you won't need it anymore.

We cut out new handles from PET bottles. First we cut out a rectangle, then make a circle on one of the sides. There is no need to cut a hole - and they hold onto them just fine.

We place this rectangle by the cord in place of the old handle. Using the back of a screwdriver, secure the new handle with a corkscrew cord.

And now the new handle sits firmly and won’t go anywhere.

It looks much better than the old one, as it is transparent and almost invisible.
