How to make a foam generator from a garden sprayer

During the warm season, you can wash your car yourself. This will save money, and the result, in most cases, will be much better. To facilitate this process, you can make a simple and very effective foam generator from a garden hand-held sprayer, which can be bought at any gardening store.

• Hand pump sprayer.
• Dishwashing sponge with two abrasive layers.

Converting a pump sprayer into a foam generator for washing

The entire remodeling process will take no more than 5 minutes. Unscrew the spray tank.

Using a needle or pin, we make 1 puncture in the upper part of the intake tube.

Next, unscrew the adjusting cap, then unscrew the nut and remove the spray nozzle.

We tear off the hard layer from the sponge and cut off a strip with scissors.

We twist the strip and insert it into the nozzle. If it is tight, reduce the twist.

Next, assemble the nozzle in reverse order.

Pour a little Fairy type detergent into the tank and add water.

Close the lid and pump with the built-in pump.

The foam generator is ready for use.
