Materials for work:
fabric (small size) - any color and structure (for example, cotton)
a little felt for the ears
filling – polyester or cotton wool
marker
scissors
beads (black) for eyes – 2 pcs.
needle
lace - thin
threads
Print out the baby elephant pattern and then cut out the parts.
Fold the fabric in half so that the right side is on the inside. Using a marker, trace the cut out pattern of parts onto the fabric. Then sew them along the outline. Be sure to leave a small hole. We will need it to fill it with filler.
Using scissors, cut out the part along the contour (zigzag).
Then turn it inside out. This can easily be done using any thin object (sticks, brushes, etc.).
Fill the baby elephant with stuffing through the hole. Start with the trunk, which you fill especially carefully, and then the entire body.
To make a ponytail, take a lace. Tie a knot at one end. Thread the lace into the eye of the needle and pull the toy through it in place of the tail (from the inside). Then pull out the lace.
Tie a knot and fluff the end of the lace.
Sew up the hole.
Cut out ears from felt. Sew the outer edges with thick colored threads.
Place the ears on the toy's head symmetrically and sew them on (with thick threads).
Sew black beads to the head for eyes. Using black thread, embroider eyelashes above them.
That's all, the wonderful baby elephant is ready! You can sew many such cute animals! They can be of different colors or even multi-colored. Fantasize, go for it! And who knows, maybe you’ll want to make a whole herd of these funny baby elephants?
