1 secret to safely bleaching tulle to pristine whiteness
White tulle turns gray over time and looks ugly. There are different ways to clean it, but not all are working or safe. Housewives, in search of returning tulle to its former whiteness, use powders, soaps, and pastes. So how can you clean tulle from gray and yellowness so that it is perfectly clean and regains its original whiteness?
Required:
- Tulle;
- 2 tablets of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid);
- 1 tbsp. baking soda;
- Washing powder or liquid gel.
A safe way to bleach tulle to near perfection
We load the tulle into the washing machine, add 2 aspirin tablets to it.
Pour about 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the pre-wash section of your washing machine. Pour gel or powder into the main washing compartment.
Turn on delicate or manual mode. Carefully study the modes of your washing machine and choose the one that suits you. Set the temperature to 30 degrees and turn off the spin cycle so that the tulle does not wrinkle.
Activate the pre-wash mode so that the baking soda enters the drum while it is pre-washing, and start the washing machine.
After washing, remove the tulle from the machine immediately. The longer it sits in the drum, the more wrinkled it will become. Even when wet, the tulle became noticeably whiter. After complete drying, it can be hung on the curtain.
This simple method, which every housewife can use, will help to safely bleach tulle and make it perfectly clean.
