Greeting card with flowers

Children love to make different applications. So why not invite your child to make such a card himself? Despite the apparent complexity, it is easy to do. The adult only needs to help the child a little. For example, bend cardboard or cut a circle in it.

To make such a postcard, prepare:
• white cardboard;
• cardboard of different colors;
• colored paper;
• glue;
• a simple pencil;
• scissors;
• ruler.



Divide a sheet of white cardboard in landscape format into four equal parts with lines.



Using a ruler, bend the two side pieces towards the middle.



To cut out the leaves, use a stencil. Fold the white paper in half and draw the outline of the sheet according to the dimensions given in the photo.



Cut it out.
Unfold the stencil and make its lower part a little narrower.



Place it on green cardboard and trace it. Draw another leaf next to it, a little smaller in size.



Cut it out.



Glue the larger sheet to the edge of the left half of the card. There is no need to coat the protruding parts of the sheet with glue.



Glue the second piece of paper next to the first.



For a red flower, cut out seven petals about 6 cm long, as well as a circle about 3 cm in diameter for the middle.Use double-sided paper that doesn't wrinkle easily.



For a yellow flower, also cut out seven petals and a center, but in a smaller size.



On the right side of the card, draw a circle with a diameter of 4 cm and cut it out. Trace it with a simple pencil so that the outline is visible on the inside of the card.



Apply glue to the very edge of the red petal and glue it onto the drawn circle.



Cover the middle with a yellow circle.



Write your congratulations on the inside of the card.



Gather the flower petals into a bud and thread it through the hole.



Make a mark where you will glue the second flower.



Make the yellow flower the same way as the red one.



Make a ladybug. To do this, cut out a red circle and stick on a piece of black paper. This is the head. Using a felt-tip pen, draw a line down to create wings. Draw polka dots on them. Glue the ladybug onto the leaf. Draw the mustache.



Make flower stems from a narrow strip of green cardboard. Cut out another leaf and glue it on the right side of the card to the stem. The postcard is ready.
