Beautiful embroidery in the Rococo style
I love embroidery and try to constantly find new methods and styles. I recently discovered an amazing method of embroidery in the Rococo style. The picture turns out three-dimensional and very lively, which particularly pleased me. Today I will teach you the basics of this style, and you will be able to embroider a wide variety of three-dimensional pictures for yourself.
What you will need for work:
• Embroidery hoop.
• Several spools of regular thread for sewing in multiple colors.
• Needle.
• Scissors.
• A piece of fabric.
First of all, we need to stretch the fabric onto the hoop. We install the ring with a smaller diameter from the inside, and the larger ring from the front side. We insert the rings into each other and stretch the fabric, narrowing the rings using a special wheel.
The selected design can be marked with a pencil or embroidered “by eye”. We thread the needle, we will embroider in two threads, so tie both ends of the thread into a knot. Insert the needle and thread it through the front side.
We wrap the edge of the thread that comes out of the fabric around the front of the needle several times.
We thread the needle through the rings wrapped around it and tighten the loop. You should end up with a voluminous strip like this.
In the same way, next to it, we make a second strip.
We embroider a few more stripes to make a beautiful rosebud.
We do the rest of the flowers in the same way. The crown of the tree will consist of them.
I embroidered the sun using regular strip embroidery.
I also embroidered the grass into shelves.
I fantasized about this picture. You can repeat my work or come up with something of your own. This technique produces very beautiful dandelions, flowers and much more.
Experiment and try any pictures. Thanks to the volumetric embroidery, they will all come to life.
