Corrugated paper rose
Paper roses look no less attractive and impressive than real ones. The advantage of paper flowers is that they never fade, and they are quite simple to make.
To make a rose from corrugated paper, you will need:
From white corrugated paper, you need to cut one long strip 3 cm wide. This strip is wound onto a wire or skewer, periodically secured with glue. During the winding process, a dense ball is formed.
Next, you will need a rectangle of white paper measuring 10x15 cm. Please note that the stripes on the crepe paper must be vertical, otherwise you will not get a beautiful wavy edge. Round the top corners by cutting them with scissors.
The long edge of the rectangle and its center must be carefully stretched along its entire length with your fingers to form volume.
The resulting petal is wound onto the stem on top of the ball.Do not tighten it too much, one and a half to two turns is enough.
To make a petal you will need 3 rectangles of size 10x15 made of white paper. One of the rectangles is folded in four, and petals with a curly edge on top are cut out. The lower part of the petals should narrow.
The petals are given volume and a wavy upper edge similar to the first large petal. The top of the petals is twisted; for this you can use a skewer, stick or scissors.
Two white rectangles are folded in half, wider petals with a triple curly edge on top are cut out of them.
The final appearance of the petals is given in the same way as the previous ones.
The resulting petals are evenly glued around the bud. You can simply attach them and then tie them around with thread. It turns out this is a rose flower.
A 10x15 rectangle is cut out of green paper, from which the sepals are made. The stripes on the paper should be vertical.
Triangles are cut out randomly from the top edge. Make cuts no further than the middle of the strip. The corners of the triangles are neatly twisted.
The resulting strip needs to be wrapped around the flower, folding the folds onto the lower part so that the sepals are in one turn. The edges of the strip should not overlap each other too much. The sepal is also sealed or tied at the top with a thread.
The lower edge of the resulting bud needs to be trimmed with scissors so that the bottom of the sepals looks neat and natural.
The stem is wrapped in a long strip of green paper or tape all the way to the end.
This is the rose you get in the end.
Paper roses look good both individually and in a bouquet and can serve as an original gift or be used for decoration.
