Cooking a snow twig
An unusual composition will decorate the interior in an original way on the eve of the New Year holidays. We create a masterpiece at home in 2.5 hours. For crafts You will need: a branch, salt, water, Christmas tree decorations in the form of balls, a disk, a pine cone or other decorations.
Step No. 1. Pour 0.5 liters of water into the pan, add 4 heaped tablespoons of salt to it, mix thoroughly. Place a branch in the saline solution so that the water completely covers it. You can press the “brew” with spoons. Place the pan on low heat. We do not cover with a lid. Cook until the water has evaporated and the salt has taken on a creamy form.
Step No. 2. Carefully remove the branch covered with salt frost onto a wide plate (cutting board). To make the task easier, you can do this with tweezers. Let it dry for a couple of hours.
Step No. 3. Prepare a flowerpot for a snow branch. We attach a Christmas tree toy - a ball - to the disk with plasticine, having first removed the plastic plug for the loop. Nearby we install additional decorative elements, in our case, these are a pine cone, a leaf and a chestnut. Ready.
Step No. 4. We lower the slightly dried tree with its trunk into the hole in the ball.
Step #5.We decorate the craft with available materials: small caps, buttons.
The New Year's product will be completely ready in a day.
During this time, the salt will finally dry and crystallize. This snow looks very interesting and, unlike cotton wool, it looks natural. But its main advantage is that even at a temperature of 40°C it remains in its original form. The composition will perfectly complement the New Year's surroundings and lift your spirits. And finally, we add a small postscript: you can add water again to the pan with salt and repeat the procedure several times with other items.
