Santa Claus on a bottle of champagne
At home there were the usual Santa hats, lying around and gathering dust, idle. The fabric attracted me with its quality and bright color. It was decided to sew a cover for a bottle of champagne. Since it was late, I didn’t start stitching on the sewing machine and waking up the neighbors. I did all the work by hand, namely I made two lines. Yes, yes, so little work for such a charming Santa Claus, who brings a festive mood not only with his appearance, but also with his content. I suggest you try to sew such a cute craft for the New Year, and, of course, involve the kids in the decorating process. After all, it won’t be difficult for them to decorate Santa Claus’ fur coat, better than I did.
1. For the case you will need:
• Threads.
• Scissors.
• Needle.
• Santa Claus hat.
Sequins and glue for decorating Santa Claus' fur coat.

2. We measure the length of the desired fur coat and cut off the upper part of the cap, since we do not need it.

3. According to the volume of the bottle, cut off the excess part, like this.

4. We sew our part, figuratively speaking, we get a cap again, but smaller in size and with a slot in the upper part (neck).

5.From the remaining part of the cap we cut out 2 parts for Santa Claus's hat.

6. Of course, it is advisable to sew on the white fur part of the hat, but since all the work was done by hand, without a machine, I did it easier.

7. I applied regular moment-gel glue and glued the flap of the hat with it.

8. I stitched from the wrong side and lightly tightened the thread to form the top of the hat.

9. Cut out 2 long strips of white fabric that imitates fur.

10. I glued one strip from top to bottom, covering the seam. The second stripe was placed on the collar of Grandfather Frost's fur coat.

11. For beauty, I glued gold sequins. The result is a cute Santa Claus case for a New Year's bottle of champagne.
