Valentine card in the shape of a paper heart
Valentine's Day has become such a popular holiday that even children celebrate it. They give heart-shaped valentines to their mothers, grandmothers, friends and girlfriends. What to do if you have a lot of friends, but your parents’ budget is limited to pennies? Then the hearts can be made from colored paper, especially since each of these hearts can be folded very quickly. Try it!
First Valentine
Take a rectangular sheet of colored paper and fold one corner in half. Cut off the excess part of the sheet.
Expand. You have a square with a ready-made diagonal fold.
Fold the square along the second diagonal.
Expand.
Bend the top corner so that it coincides with the center of the square.
Fold the bottom corner to the top fold. Iron the resulting fold.
Fold the right side of the workpiece in half diagonally, aligning the bottom fold with the vertical fold passing through the middle crafts.
Fold the left side of the workpiece in the same way.
Turn over to the other side.
Bend the top and side corners inside the craft as shown in the photo.
Turn over to the front side. This is the heart you got.
Second Valentine
For this Valentine's card, prepare a square sheet of colored paper.
Fold in half horizontally.
Unfold, rotate the square 90 degrees in any direction and fold again horizontally.
Unfold again.
Fold the left side of the piece in half, aligning the edge of the square with its vertical fold.
Turn over to the other side.
Fold the left side of the workpiece in half again (to the fold). You have a narrow rectangle.
Fold the bottom and top parts in half, joining the edges in the middle.
Expand. You now have four horizontal sectors.
Bend the upper and lower sectors horizontally in half.
Return the edges to their original position. Take scissors and make vertical cuts at the top and bottom to the nearest fold.
There were two small rectangles at the top and bottom.
Fold their sides towards the middle. You will get four triangles.
Fold the workpiece in half horizontally.
Fold the bottom of the craft into a triangle, folding the edges towards the middle.
Open the sides of the workpiece on both sides and hide the folded parts inside along the folds made.
You will have an almost finished heart.
To prevent the sides of the craft from protruding, turn it over to the other side and insert the triangles of the upper part of the workpiece into the open triangles of the lower part. And press the edges again.
Fold the top corners in half horizontally, bending downwards. This will secure the craft on top.
Turn over to the front side. The heart is ready.
