This master class on making small postcards for March 8 in the shape of eights and hearts will come in handy. We need to take the following for the master class:
• Light green, pink and red cardboard;
• Watercolor A4 paper;
• Small pictures with different animals and bouquets of flowers;
• Inscriptions printed and stamped: “happy spring holiday”, “congratulations”, “March 8”;
• Green and pink pillows with ink for tinting;
• Cardboard templates of figure eight and heart;
• Circles of different colors and sizes from cutting;
• Paper flowers in peach, red, blue and pink colors;
• Narrow satin ribbons of the same colors with polka dots;
• Stamens in sugar and pearly pink, lettuce, white;
• Flower stamp and acrylic block;
• Glue gun;
• Scissors, pencil, double-sided tape, PVA glue.
To begin with, what we do is take cardboard templates and apply them to the cardboard, trace two figures side by side to make a folded card. We make the basics from both eights and hearts.
Now we fold each blank in half, so we get these ready-made card bases.
The second thing we do is cut out hearts and figure eights from watercolor paper for the interior decoration of the cards.
We tint partly with pink ink and partly with green. You can immediately glue it into the bases of the postcards with double-sided tape in the center.
Now we will cut out two blanks for each card from scrap paper.
We glue a figure eight and a heart to the back parts of the base, and we will decorate the front parts. We glue openwork circles, glue them just above the pictures, and below the pictures we glue congratulatory inscriptions. We sew all the details on a machine.
We glue the front parts to the base and sew the back parts separately and the front parts separately along the edges of each card.
The final step remains, gluing decor and stamp flowers and a bear with a bouquet inside.
We glue the decor with a glue gun. Done, you have some cute and original greeting cards.
