Lush roses made of corrugated paper
Roses are incredibly beautiful and exquisite flowers. The shades of these plants amaze the imagination: from pure white to dark scarlet, from soft pink to purple-crimson. And the bud structure of some varieties is incredibly lush, making it difficult to count the number of petals. There is not a single person in the world who would be indifferent to a rose bush. And if you look at works of art, these colors are embodied in every technique. Artists painted pictures, sculptors sculpted, craftswomen embroidered canvases... Many roses are found on the outfits of fashionistas, in interiors, and in jewelry. Today you will learn how to make lush roses from corrugated paper using a very unusual technique. There are master classes where a flower bud is assembled from individual petals, but in this one a rose is made from a continuous strip. You will find out more details below. Prepare the following materials for work:
- corrugated paper of different colors (especially red and dark blue);
- long wooden skewers (7 pieces);
- scissors;
- a tube of PVA-K glue;
- the bottom part of a plastic bottle (2 l).

Take dark blue crepe paper and cut it into 8cm wide pieces across the entire length of the roll.

Unroll the strip along its entire length.

Take the top right corner in your hands and form wavy edges. How to do this correctly? First, you fold the top edge towards you, then press it with the thumb of your right hand and turn it back, while simultaneously overlapping it forward with your left hand. Then repeat again: with your right hand away from you, and with your left towards you. The result is a wavy top edge.

This must be done over the entire strip of corrugated paper.

Next, take a thin wooden skewer, place it on the right edge of the paper blank, apply a little PVA glue and start twisting the strip in a spiral.

Make sure that the wavy edge lies freely, and sometimes you need to apply glue to the underside of the paper strip so that it fits tightly to the wooden skewer.

This is what the finished bud looks like. It turns out lush and incredibly beautiful. A wooden skewer can be decorated with green corrugated paper to create a stem.

All other flowers must be made using the same principle.
Cut a strip of red corrugated paper.

Form a wavy edge along the entire length of the workpiece.

Glue the paper blank onto a thin wooden stick.

This is what a red rose looks like.

In total you need to make 6 blue buds and one red. Although, you can choose the color of roses at your discretion. Now proceed to making the vase. Take the bottom edge of a plastic bottle. Its height is approximately 11 cm.

Decorate with red corrugated paper. Cut a 30x30 cm square, apply PVA glue to it and wrap it inside a plastic base.It turns out to be a wide vase.

Place roses in it: blue ones in a circle, and one red one in the very center. The result is a magnificent airy composition of lush roses.

If you make a lot of roses, you can place them in a small basket. It looks absolutely great.
