Candle for Valentine's Day with decor
The holiday of all lovers is approaching us - Valentine's Day. This is not an easy day, it is one of the most romantic and tender winter holidays, which gives all loving couples joy, tender feelings and romantic present. The symbol of such a holiday is the “Valentine”, and it is precisely these that people exchange with each other on this holiday. Any holiday brings positive and pleasant memories to a person, but for this you need to try hard. What does this mean and how can you prepare for this holiday so that it will be remembered for a long time? First of all, of course, you need to choose a gift for your other half, this is different for everyone. Guys don’t bother too much and make do with a bouquet of flowers and sweets, older men already choose more worthwhile gifts, for example, perfume or jewelry, but women and girls on this holiday are somehow incomprehensible. One thing we know for sure is that you simply cannot leave your other half unattended and without a gift.What about the female half of humanity? Girls and women, for example, can buy any item of clothing or men's accessories, for example, a tie, pullover, shirt, watch, cufflinks or belt, in general, in one word, something that is liked and preferred by a particular man. Well, the best and most pleasant surprise for your beloved man will be a beautifully set and decorated table with a romantic dinner. By the way, it is women who know how to surprise and please their man, prepare his favorite dish and present it all beautifully and originally. An original hand-made candle with decor will complement the hearth and create romance on the holiday table. This is exactly what we will do now and start right from this moment. We take the following:
• Candle food paraffin, approximately 150 grams;
• Wick holder and wick to the height of the candle plus 2 cm for reserve;
• Napkins for decoupage with hearts;
• Red liquid glitter;
• Watercolor paper;
• Red cardboard;
• Pink scrapbooking paper;
• Curb hole punch;
• Rep ribbon 2.5 cm wide with angels;
• Ribbon with pink pompoms;
• Red satin polka dot ribbon;
• Peach mesh;
• Red flower, white stamens;
• Epoxy flower sticker;
• Red rose made of polymer clay;
• Pink brocade ribbon;
• White organza ribbon;
• Rhinestones hearts;
• Glass for mold;
• Glue gun;
• Double-sided tape;
• Ruler, pencil, scissors;
• Plate for water bath;
• Tablespoon;
• A pair of toothpicks.
First you need to make the candle itself. We heat a water bath, place a plate on it, put paraffin in it and begin to melt it over low heat.Meanwhile, insert the wick into the holder, place two toothpicks on the glass and lower it into the glass. Pour the wick into a glass mold.
Very carefully remove the top layer from the napkins and tear off the fragments of the hearts.
We take the candle out of the mold, heat the spoon over the fire and place individual pictures on the candle and melt it with a hot spoon.
The entire candle is decorated.
Now let's create the decoration. We cut watercolor paper 7*17 cm, red cardboard 6*17 cm and scrap paper 5*17 cm.
We use a hole punch to make cardboard laces. Use double-sided tape to glue the strips together.
We glue grosgrain ribbon in the center and sew it on a machine. Use PVA glue to glue the ring together. Let's prepare now decor. We tie bows from different ribbons, cut off a piece of mesh and fold it into a bow. We form a bouquet from stamens and flowers.
We glue bows on the front and back, then a bouquet and an epoxy sticker, glue a ribbon with pompoms, and in the center of the bows are hearts and flowers made of polymer clay.
Insert the candle into the composition and you're done! The result is such a romantic and bright table decoration! Thank you to everyone and I wish you good luck!
