Making scented candles in a glass jar
Today we decided to share with you a master class on making scented candles in candlesticks from the most ordinary glass jars. These candles can be presented to guests at a wedding as a compliment.
Required materials and tools:
- 1 bag of wax flakes,
- natural dye,
- alcohol,
- flavoring,
- stainless steel container,
- wooden spatula,
- textile,
- a thread,
- glass jars,
- wick,
- seal,
- wooden sticks,
- scissors.
1. First, clean the jar using a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
2. Next, cut off the length of the wick you need and tie a metal button to one end, and tie the other end to wooden sticks that will serve as a holder.
3. Then we begin to prepare our scented candles. To do this, you need to melt the wax flakes over low heat, add coloring and flavoring.
4. After the flakes are completely melted, you will get a homogeneous liquid mass of a certain shade, which needs to be poured into a glass jar and set aside until it hardens completely.
5.After the candle has completely hardened, we can cut off the end of the wick, which was previously tied to a wooden stick holder.
6. Next, we take the fabric, cut out a circle that perfectly fits the size of our jar and decorate it with a thematic inscription.
7. This fabric covering for the top of the jar will look very cute. It can also be complemented with bright thread or twine.
