Postcard “Vase with flowers”
Is it mom's birthday soon or is International Women's Day coming up? You need to prepare in advance for a significant event, or rather, think about a gift for your beloved women. Of course, fresh flowers are always relevant and in demand. present, but sometimes it’s simply not possible to buy them. So let's make a card with unusual flowers that will definitely attract the attention of others.

We will move away from the traditional colored paper, felt-tip pens or plasticine for creative lessons, and work with fabric, yarn, cardboard and buttons.
So, for the “Vase with Flowers” postcard we prepare:
- cardboard
- colorful pieces of fabric
- buttons
- PVA glue
- yarn for hand or machine knitting
- scissors
- stapler with metal staples.

So, first we will seal the cardboard for the base of the postcard. To do this, fold the sheet in half to highlight the fold line. We have a cover for the book. Next, we will attach the paper to the fabric selected for the general background of the card, and cut the piece we need with an allowance of about 1 cm.

We wrap the edges of the fabric inside the book cover, where we secure them with staples. It is better to use a stapler on the corners of cardboard. This way we grab and secure two edges of the fabric at once.

Now let's close the cover and re-use the stapler, but this time in the middle of each of the four sides of the postcard. The base is ready.
Next, cut the yarn into strips 3-4 cm long. Additionally, cut out three circles from cardboard. We will glue yarn on them - flower petals.

We drip PVA glue onto the circle and lay out the threads in several rows. We close the middle with a small button. When the glue is completely dry, it will become transparent. The appearance of the flower will instantly change for the better.

Now let's cut out the buds from red cotton fabric.

To prevent the vase of flowers from looking too colorful and pretentious, cut out a rectangle from cardboard or a regular album sheet, smaller in size than the base of the postcard. We will decorate the vase itself from lace fabric. Since gluing lace is a tedious job, we fixed the result of creating the vase with staples.

Now, like a mosaic, we put all the details into a postcard. First, we simply try on the arrangement of flowers and buds, and then we fix them on paper using PVA.

The card turned out wonderful. Now you don’t have to worry that your mother will be left without a gift on her birthday. Surely no one else will present her with such a card.
