Paper topiary
In order for happiness not to leave the house, it must be retained. A homemade talisman will, of course, help with this. Often after bouquets there is crepe paper left behind, which is a pity to throw away. In the pantry, needlewomen accumulate a lot of different improvised materials, these can be old newspapers, threads and already unnecessary cosmetics; there is a use for such wealth.
To work, you need to find in your bins:
Stages of work
1. Divide the newspaper in half. From one part, roll a tube into several layers, folding the last layer on top. Seal the edge. The second part is crushed into a dense lump so that it turns into a beautiful sphere, wrap it with threads. Make a hole in the middle with a sharp pencil and widen it to the diameter of the trunk.
2. You can get something like bark if you cover the trunk with a crumpled torn napkin, making it wrinkled as the glue is applied. Paint with black paint, diluting with liquid glue. After the first layer has dried and stopped getting dirty, create a beautiful golden texture with dry shadows.Their advantage over acrylic paint and bronze is that the palette has a large selection of shades and you can immediately choose the right one. It is advisable to consolidate the result. A can of hairspray will do the job perfectly.
3.It's time to connect the two parts of the base. After this, the crown is wrapped in a piece of paper, tied at the bottom with a ribbon, and secured at the top with glue and pins.
4. The pattern for the roses is the most primitive one, which even a child can master. The strip folded lengthwise is rolled into a tight roll. Fold back the top edge, stretching the folds of the crepe paper. Cut the edge along an arc, dip the flower at the bottom in glue.
5.Gather all the inflorescences into the crown, again dipping the lower edges in glue and fixing them with tailor’s pins with beautiful heads. They will serve as additional decoration.
6. Place the barrel in an aromatic candle, removing paraffin from the middle. Fill the empty space around with it. Sprinkle some beautiful decorative stuff on top.
The topiary is ready. It is perfect for decorating a room and will give you a good mood with its beauty. And where joy lives, there is happiness.
