Watermelon lemonade
Watermelon lemonade is an incredibly tasty and refreshing drink. It is often served at resorts and seaside holiday destinations. The recipe is very simple, minimal ingredients and amazing results. Watermelon itself is extremely refreshing, and in the form of lemonade this effect is enhanced many times over.
Ingredients
- Some watermelon, from which you need to get 500 ml. juice
- Chilled water 500 ml.
- 5-6 lemons to get 150-180 ml. juice
- 200 ml. sugar syrup.
Making watermelon lemonade, step by step recipe
So, squeeze the juice out of the lemons. Strain through a strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
Cut the watermelon pulp into cubes.
Place in a blender.
Grind until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Strain through a strainer.
No pulp is needed.
You should have half a liter of watermelon juice. Since watermelons are very juicy berries, one should be more than enough.
All ingredients are prepared. Take a mixing container. Fill half with watermelon juice.
And add the rest of the liquids: syrup, lemon juice, water.
Add ice. You can decorate with a slice of watermelon and lemon.
I recommend consuming it immediately after preparation.
Incredibly refreshing and invigorating.

PS: If the watermelon is especially bony, then it is better not to grind the pulp with a blender, but to mash the pulp with a potato masher and strain.
The ratios can be changed to suit your taste preferences.
