Headband “Evening” with chiffon flowers
The flowers are made of chiffon and nylon, treated with a gelatin solution.

For work we will use:
- chiffon fabric “Brown chameleon” and brown nylon.
- a pack of instant gelatin.
- scissors.
- lighter.
- wire.
- foil.
- glue gun.
- headband.
- ribbon for headband.
- beads on a fishing line for decoration.
- artificial branch with red leaves.
- a strip of corrugated green paper.
Before work, the fabric should be soaked in gelatin. We dilute the powder according to the instructions on the pack, hang the fabric in one layer and allow time to dry. You can speed up this process with a hairdryer. Then you should prepare templates for the petals. They are drop-shaped, just different sizes. We will use squares of 6, 5 and 4 cm for this. All petals should then be cut out of chiffon. Templates should be placed on the fabric at 45 degrees from the grain thread. And we will need 15 large petals, 13 medium pieces and 12 small template blanks. Then from the brown nylon you need to cut out 6 leaves from 4x2 cm rectangles. And 9 drops from 3 cm squares.

Additionally, you need 3 circles with a diameter of 5 cm.Sharp corners should be cut out of them in any arrangement. These will be the sepals of the flowers.

Now let's start processing thin petals. First, we make a deepening in the middle of the petal with our fingers by stretching it. And due to cutting out the parts along an oblique thread, the fabric stretches well. Then, using a lighter, we will make small waves along the wide edge of the petals. We bring the flame to the flame for a second and immediately bend the warm fabric with our fingers, making a tearing motion.

Not the same number of waves are placed on different petals.

Now let's start assembling the small flower. We attach a drop of foil to a 7 cm wire; this will be the base. We measure the height of this blank one drop at a time from brown nylon. The petal should be higher than the base. First, we glue 3 small pieces of nylon to the foil with a gun.

We attach all 3 petals tightly to the base and take three medium and small thin petals. Large size blanks need 4 pieces.

Glue the first small petals tightly to the brown bud.

Lubricate the next 3 petals with glue only at the bottom of the part.

And we also place the last 4 petals in a circle, gluing them only to the bottom of the workpiece.

The small flower is assembled, but you need two of them. The assembly of a large flower is similar, only the number of the first row will be 6 petals. Next we take 7 medium-sized blanks.

We attach all the petals only to the bottom edge. There will also be 7 large blanks.

Now the big flower is ready.

All that remains is to glue the sepals to the bottom of these flowers, which we pierce with wire in the middle.

Next you need to glue the wire itself with corrugated paper.

The flowers are ready.

Let's move on to the leaves. First, we cut out the teeth along the edge of the blanks.Next we make folds by bending the sheet, warming it with a candle and pressing it with our fingers. We make stripes that look like veins.

Then we cut the wire shorter and glue the leaf to each flower from below. Lubricate the bottom edge with glue and secure it around the wire with a bag.

We will attach such flowers to the headband.

The rim itself needs to be covered with thin tape. And prepare 6 jewelry from beads on a fishing line.

We cut the fishing line 8 cm long and glue it from the middle of the rim in different directions, along the rim, three pieces together.

Next we glue a large flower in the middle of the rim, and small ones on the sides of this blank. We glue the remaining leaves on the wrong side of the flowers with a rim. The inside needs to look neat.

Now we take an artificial branch with leaves.

And we fasten in the intervals between flowers. The decoration is ready.
Good luck to all!
