We very often lately are faced with the problem of choosing a gift, especially for men. Firstly, in order to give something specific and necessary, you need to know the person’s preferences very well. Secondly, sometimes it turns out that a person has absolutely everything, and in order to surprise him you need a fairly substantial amount of money for some rare collectible item. Well, thirdly, you simply won’t give any nonsense as a gift, as it will be thrown away and not even remembered. A present after all, that’s what a gift is for, to please, surprise and congratulate a person. As a good and interesting gift idea, you can consider a pillow toy. This is a very relevant gift for car owners, no matter if it is a woman or a man. Pillow options may vary. They can be square, round, triangular, with different pictures and images, for example, a road sign with a picture inside or a picture with a car emblem. It’s very useful to give a man a pillow with a picture of Nissan if he has a car of this model. It will lie behind the car under the glass and will beautifully complement the interior and design of the car.And in order not to search long and tediously for such pillows in stores and on the Internet, you can make it to your taste with your own hands. Any picture or logo can be printed on fabric in photo salons. Now this service is quite popular, so you can easily find such a salon. You make a selection of pictures from the Internet and then print it on fabric. So, now I will sew such a toy pillow.

To sew a toy pillow we will need to take:
• Black and white gabardine 0.5 meters each;
• White and black interlining 0.5 meters each;
• Printed picture with the Nissan X-Trail logo on white gabardine;
• Sintepon filler in circles;
• Scissors, white thread and needle, ruler.

So, our pillow will consist of two parts, the pillow itself and its pillowcase, on which there will be a picture. We cut two squares of 42*42 cm from white gabardine. We take 2 cm for sewing allowances. We prepared these squares for sewing the pillow itself.

For the pillowcase, we cut out a black square from gabardine 43*43 cm, and the second part of the pillowcase will have a picture and size 43*53 cm. We also take seaming allowances of 2 cm, and one side is 10 cm larger than the other for the inner flap of the pillowcase. For the pillowcase we also cut off such pieces of black and white non-woven fabric.

For the pillow, we also cut off two white squares of non-woven fabric.

We iron and steam the gabardine well.

We place the interlining with the pimples up and smooth the gabardine. Now on both the pillowcase and the pillow we need to fold one edge twice and baste it by hand.

We sew each edge with a machine.

We fold the squares of the pillow and sew along the edge from the front part, except for the bottom. We turn it inside out and now retreat 1 cm and also stitch on three sides, without the bottom part.

We stuff the pillow with padding polyester and sew it at the bottom.

The pillow is ready, now we sew the pillowcase. We wrap the flap on the white gabardine inward, it is 10 cm, apply a black square and throw it on the sides.
