Game for children “Ladybugs on autumn leaves”
Today I want to share an interesting game that my daughter and I came up with while walking in the park. When we were collecting autumn leaves, a ladybug was hidden under one of them. The daughter put the bug on a smaller leaf and said that the small ladybug should sit on the small leaf. It was at this moment that I decided to make the game “Ladybugs on Autumn Leaves.”
For work we took the following components:
- a set of colored cardboard;
- scissors;
- double sided tape;
- pencil;
- leaves from different trees;
- black self-adhesive film.
First we started making ladybugs. We agreed that there would be exactly 10 bugs. On the back of a piece of red cardstock we drew ten ovals of different sizes.
Then my daughter carefully cut them out and got these blanks.
Small black circles were cut out of black self-adhesive film - these are the dots on the wings of the beetles. Since the seven-spotted ladybug is the most common, it was necessary to make 70 black circles.
Advice! Dots on the wings can be drawn with a black marker.
This is what bugs with dots glued on look like.
Next, we cut out black semicircles according to the size of each oval - these will be the heads of the ladybugs.
We glued them to the red ovals using double-sided tape and we got these funny bugs.
Autumn leaves are outlined on a colored canton of green, yellow and orange. My daughter cut them out. Such beautiful leaves came out!
All game components are ready and you can play. For example, I asked my daughter to line up the ladybugs from largest to smallest.
The same task can be used on pieces of paper.
But the main thing is to place all the bugs on the leaves according to size. Here we need to think, and my daughter spent a long time trying on the cows for the leaves.
Such tasks develop the child’s thinking, memory, imagination, attention, enrich vocabulary and bring emotional pleasure.
Make the game “Ladybugs on different autumn leaves” and your child will learn to distribute objects by size in a playful way and will practice counting to 10.
Advice! In spring, bugs can be placed on flowers of different sizes, in winter - on snowflakes, and in summer - on berries.
Advice! And instead of ladybugs, make butterflies, chafers or dragonflies.
