How to make a paper rose
Rose can be called one of the spectacular flowers. This is probably why I want to replicate its beauty using various materials, of which paper is the most accessible. We suggest making this flower from red paper.

To work you will need to take:
- 5 square sheets of paper (4 red and 1 green) measuring 10.5x10.5 cm;
- scissors;
- compass;
- glue;
- toothpick.

Take 4 red sheets and put them together. After this, draw a circle using a compass.

Cut with scissors.

Then the resulting circles need to be folded in half 2 times. For convenience, you can not fold everything at once, but 2 circles at a time.

Now we make cuts (not all the way) along the sides and in the middle of the resulting segment. This is required for preparing future petals.

We unfold the circles and get 4 blanks with petals.

For further work, you will need a toothpick, with which you need to tuck the edges of the petals down. Photo 8.
We do this on all 4 laps.

Now you need to cut out individual elements from the resulting circles. On the first circle, we simply make a cut to the center.On the second we cut out a segment consisting of one petal. The third has two petals. On the fourth out of three.

We carefully glue the resulting elements along the edge and get 7 blanks for the future rose.

Let's start assembling the flower. To do this, apply a little glue to the center of the largest workpiece and fasten an element that is slightly smaller than the previous one.

We will continue to do so. As you approach the center of the rose, you may need to reduce the height of the elements; we do this using scissors.

All that remains is to make green leaves. Take a sheet of paper and fold it first into a square, and then diagonally.

We cut out a semicircle, these will be blanks for future leaves.

We unfold it and see 4 leaves.

But we still need to refine them. To do this, fold each leaf in half again, and then make an “accordion” out of it.

We unfold it and see the textured leaves.

We connect them together with glue.

We attach a red rose in the center.
