Photo frame decor for a furry pet
The cat is man's most beloved pet. This is a graceful, affectionate animal. A pet is a real psychotherapist because a few minutes spent with a cat can be enough to distract, unwind and calm down. Cats warm their owners with their warmth. And most importantly, pets are a source of smiles and positivity. So that the good mood does not leave us, we will make a frame for a photo of a cat. For this we just need a little felt and a good mood.
Materials:
Step 1. Take a photo frame. It can be of any size, in this case the frame size is 10x15 cm. Apply a small amount of acrylic paint to a sponge and paint the entire frame with patting movements (hard-to-reach places can be painted with a brush). I used blue because... I have a cat, and if you have a cat, you can use pink.
Step 2. Note all dimensions will fit a 10x15cm photo frame. On gray felt we draw half of the cat's face, it should create the feeling that it is peeking out, 11 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. Then on white felt we draw two cat paws, 4 cm high and 2.5 cm wide. Next, on yellow felt we draw a curved tail 10 cm high and 1.5 cm wide.
Step 3. Now let's add small details: on pink felt we draw two triangles (ears), and eight small circles (paw pads) and two small ovals (cat's palm). Next, on the yellow felt we draw a small circle with a diameter of 1.5 cm and on the gray felt we draw several also small triangles (stripes on the tail).
Step 4. Cut everything out.
Step 5. From felt, I decided to make my cat’s favorite treat - a fish (length 4.5 cm, width 2 cm), but you can replace it with any other treat or with your pet’s favorite toy (for example, a mouse or a ball).
Step 6. Glue 4 pink circles and 1 oval in the middle to each white paw; glue gray triangles to the tail, as shown in the photo. We glue 2 pink triangles onto the ears of the gray cat and cut the yellow circle in half and glue it as eyes. Glue an eye cut out of felt onto the fish. Then carefully coat each piece with Moment glue and glue it onto white cardboard, press it firmly so that everything sticks together and leave it for a while.
Step 7. Cut out, leaving about 0.5 cm along the edges of the cardboard.
Step 8. Let's make the cat more detailed. To do this, draw the pupils with a black marker (can be made from felt), then make highlights - cut out very small circles from white felt and glue them to the left of the pupil. I also decided to add white stripes on the cat's head.
Step 9. The blanks are ready!
Step 10Using a glue gun, glue everything to the frame. First we glue the tail, then the gray cat, fish and paws.
All you have to do is insert a photo of your furry pet into a new frame and you're done! Thanks to the felt, the frame looks impressive and creates the feeling of cat fur. My cat Leva will be happy!
