How to make a cache?

First you need to attach a washer to the cover of the case, which will be larger in diameter than the case itself. You can find it or cut it out of a tin can with metal scissors. For fastening we use a bolt with a flat head. Pre-drill a hole in the case.

Where will the cache be located?

The cache will be located at the top of the door, so it is very reliable and it is unlikely that anyone will look for valuables there.
We measure the diameter of the cigar case. And we take a feather drill with a slightly larger diameter than the case. Insert it into a screwdriver or drill and drill a hole. The depth of the hole should be greater than the length of the case.
Now you can try to insert the case into the hole - it should fall through.But the puck should stick out. In order for the washer to also sink into the wood, you need to make a small groove along the edge of the hole. This can be done manually by digging with a screwdriver. Or take a feather drill of a larger diameter and drill a little.

Next, take our container and lower it into the hole. It should lie level and should not be visible. When closing the door, he also should not shuffle or rest against anything.

How can we now get our capsule out of the hole?

And we will use an ordinary magnet to get this capsule with valuables. We bring a magnet and the cap becomes magnetized. We lift it and the capsule rises with a magnet.
