How to change a tire without a jack
Every motorist knows how important it is to be prepared on the road. However, different situations happen in life, and the same jack is not always at hand. Well, you won’t surprise anyone with punctures on the road. Is it possible to change a wheel without a jack, and how can you do it yourself?

In fact, there is nothing unusual in such a situation. You can’t foresee everything, so you have to get out of a difficult situation, and sometimes alone. Most often this happens with the front wheels. If the tire is flat, but it is not chewed, and the tire is intact, you can try the following method of replacing it with a spare tire.
We inflate the wheel with a pump until it is as close to normal as possible.

While it keeps pumping for some time, we place several bricks under the axle beam or swing arm, and insert a small piece of board into it. By the way, it can be used as a locking shoe to block the movement of the wheels. The stands must be stable, because if the car jumps off them, it will be very difficult to repeat what you started.

We release the inflated air from the spare tire. At the same time, loosen the four nuts on the wheel studs. An L-shaped balloon or cross wrench will come in handy.

We bleed air from a broken wheel by unscrewing the nipple. We carefully ensure that the car does not jump off our brick stands. Now you can completely unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the wheel.

We insert the spare wheel into place of the wheel and fasten it with mounting nuts. Tighten them thoroughly with a wheel wrench.

We pump up the pressure in the spare tire with a pump.

When the car is raised, it will be possible to remove our pads from under it. By the way, wooden blocks made of dense wood species are suitable for them.

Good luck to everyone on the roads!
