By installing a tap in a screwdriver, you can cut threads in soft metal parts in a couple of seconds. In order for the tool to last longer and the thread to be of better quality, the tap must be lubricated before each run. Despite all its advantages, a tap rotated with a screwdriver is unsuitable for processing steel parts.

When they come into contact with the hardware, they are pressed along the fastening contour, after which the key takes the required shape. Just one such tool can replace a set of ratchet sockets. It will be indispensable when working with non-standard hardware.

I don’t know about the five bells and whistles, but I’ll tell you about one. I worked as an electrician, I had to quite often assemble panels, assemblies, etc.. To fasten electrical equipment, you need to drill and tap more than one hole. I was also so smart: I inserted it into the socket the tap - broke on the first hole, then the second, the third. The smart guy writes about steel. I will say that the worst thing is cutting threads in aluminum, kerosene barely helps. If anyone has a supply of taps from M3 to M6, try it. God willing strength in your hands and not fly away with the screwdriver. Do not confuse it with a lathe.

I don’t know about others, but the twist attachment is complete garbage. It doesn't remove the insulation properly. Only if you twist already stripped wires. But for the price it’s not really needed. There are a lot of more effective ways of twisting with a screwdriver and ten times cheaper
