A 200 liter barrel will help get rid of the stump

Removing a stump from a site with your own hands

Take a metal barrel. Cut two holes using metal scissors or an angle grinder.

A rectangle at the bottom, free-form at the top. The result is a kind of oven, where firewood will be placed in the lower part, and smoke will come out from above.
Dig the stump from all sides. Everything is done with a shovel in about 15 minutes.

We put the barrel on the stump and add firewood.

It is better to start removing the stump in the morning, since the process needs control, and leaving it overnight is dangerous. Everything was prepared for the evening.
We light our stove in the morning.

Everything inside burns and smolders for almost 14 hours.

All that was left for the night were the coals that were being “finished.” The next morning everything burned to the ground, leaving only ash.
