How to instantly magnetize a screwdriver using a battery

Everyone has had such a need when they need to magnetize a screwdriver in order to screw a screw into a hard-to-reach place or to remove a fallen one. The classic way to magnetize screwdrivers is to use a regular magnet and apply a screwdriver to it for a while. Of course, this method works, but it is simply impossible to obtain good magnetization using it.
Now you will see a way by which it is possible to very strongly magnetize a working tool in virtually seconds.
Will need
- Copper stranded wire with a cross section of 1-3 mm and a length of 2-3 meters.
- Rechargeable battery 12 V.
How to instantly and strongly magnetize a screwdriver
Take a screwdriver and wrap the entire length of the existing wire around it.

There should be some kind of solenoid.

Now is the most crucial moment. We take the contacts of this coil and connect one of them to any pole of the battery. And with the second end, very briefly for maximum fractions of a second, in jerks, we touch the second pole.

We do several of these “touches.”My hand is “stuffed”, but you may not succeed the first time, as a result of which the wire may stick and flare up from excessive load. Therefore, I do not recommend repeating this so as not to take responsibility.
But if the wire gets stuck on me, I immediately release the other end, which is free, with my other hand.
As a result, the screwdriver becomes so strongly magnetized in a matter of seconds that it is capable of lifting another screwdriver, not just small machine screws or nuts.

All this is achieved due to the emergence of large supercurrents, which are converted by the coil into a powerful magnetic field.
Advice
If you are afraid of draining the battery or burning the wires, then try connecting a powerful halogen lamp to the circuit, but in this case the magnetization of the screwdriver will be very low.
