Everyone laughed until they saw the result: Top dressing for 100% fruit set
In the presence of the necessary micro and macroelements, garden plants form a rich ovary, which is the key to obtaining a large harvest. In this regard, during the flowering period of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants or when cabbage heads are forming, foliar feeding is needed. You can prepare it yourself, thereby eliminating the need to spray with purchased fertilizers of unknown origin and composition.
What you will need:
- water;
- milk serum;
- boric acid.
Fertilizer preparation process
For foliar feeding during the flowering period, 5 liters of solution require 0.5 liters of whey and 2 grams of boric acid from the pharmacy.
Boric acid is poorly soluble, so it is better to dilute it in hot water. You need to take a jar of heated water and add half a teaspoon of acid there. When it dissolves, the solution is poured into a spray bottle along with the whey. Next, cold water is added in such an amount to obtain 5 liters of fertilizer.
Treatment of the solution on the sheet is done early in the morning or in the evening. During the flowering period, up to 3 sprayings can be carried out with an interval of 10-14 days.In addition to increasing the quantity and quality of the harvest, such fertilizing also prevents blossom end rot. It is rich in calcium, boron and other micro and macroelements valuable for the plant. In addition, it is absolutely safe.
