How to sew a hole with a hidden seam using tape
A torn sweater or other clothing can be sewn up so that the repair area is completely invisible. It's not difficult to learn.
Materials:
- thread;
- thin needle;
- scotch.
Hole repair process
The thing turns inside out. The hole must be leveled, aligning the edges and slightly overlapping them. Then a piece of tape is glued to it.
Next, take a thread of a suitable color (in the example, red is used for clarity). It is threaded through a thin needle and a knot is made at its end. The needle needs to be inserted from the front side into the hole along the tear line, pass in front of the tape and go beyond 3-4 mm.
Next, stitches are applied across the direction of the tear. They need to be made very small. The needle is inserted and comes out 2-3 mm lower from the outside.
Then the thread is thrown over the gap on the outside, and the needle is inserted opposite. You need to enter alternately from each side of the hole. The needle should not pierce the tape.
Having reached the end, you should pull the thread and the stitches will disappear. If they lay down often, then there will not even be a trace of repair.
The needle is brought inside out and a securing knot is made on the inner seam.
