How to make a flexible grip for the hardest to reach places

A flexible grip is an extremely useful device that almost everyone has needed at least once in their life. And most masters need it every day.

We need to find a small steel spring. We will use it to make the capture itself.

Let's stretch it by holding it in a vice and pulling it out with pliers.

Cut 4 identical pieces from the resulting wire.

Take one part from the double connecting terminal. Insert 4 pieces of wire into it and tighten with a screw.

Next, take a 1.5 meter piece of thick wire.

And screw it to the second half of the terminal.

The terminal screws must be cut off with a hacksaw.

The thin ends of the wire must be bent at the ends and bent from the center.

Insert the wire with the grip into a thin PVC tube.



Next you need to find the spring stop.

Let's take it apart and take out the spring.

We will put the spring from it on a strand of thick wire. We grind off the screw, drill it and thread a wire through it, bend it and fix it.


Next, we will put the emphasis on the entire structure.

We will pass a pin made of the same wire through the pre-drilled hole and fix it by bending it.


We will put heat shrink on this place and use a hair dryer.

The flexible grip is ready.


For convenience, you can glue round pieces to make it convenient to work.
