How to press the zipper slider correctly
The slider on worn clothes and shoes wears out considerably from friction, so it stops zipping. To compensate for this, it simply needs to be crimped. However, for everything to work out, you need to do it right.
Zipper repair process
Pressing must be done carefully so as not to crush the slider, as this will irrevocably damage it. First of all, it is carefully compressed alternately at the bottom left and right of the grip.
At the next stage, you need to grab it with pliers from the sides from below and squeeze it lightly. It is similarly compressed on the reverse side.
This repair will be enough for the first time. After this sequence of actions, the slider will begin to move tighter and fasten normally. If it is worn out considerably, then you should repeat this, but by pulling out the reciprocal part of the zipper from the slider. This way he will shrink even more and be able to squeeze harder.
