Life hack: how to remove stains from chocolate and citrus fruits on a child’s clothes
The child learns about the world, everything is interesting to him, and he loves to conduct experiments. We cannot do without stains: fruits, juices, chocolate, paints - all this remains on clothes, so we have to wash them every day.
In this article, I will share with you the basic tips I use for removing chocolate and citrus stains.
Glycerin and hydrogen peroxide help me remove chocolate from children's clothes.
Glycerol
This method is suitable for colored cotton clothing. I warm the bottle of glycerin a little in a water bath. Then I soak a cotton swab in the solution and begin to treat the stain, but do not rub it! I leave it for 20 minutes. Then I remove the glycerin with a clean, damp dish sponge and wash the clothes.
Hydrogen peroxide
Helps when you need to remove chocolate stains on light-colored clothes. This method is not suitable for colored clothes, because the fabric will fade. I soak a cotton swab in hydrogen peroxide, apply it to the contaminated area, and after 10 minutes I wipe the stain.
Folk remedies help me remove citrus stains
Oranges leave yellow stains on clothes that are difficult to wash off. It is, of course, better to remove stains when they are still fresh.
Salt and boiling water
I wash clothes with citrus stains immediately under cold water. Sprinkle the contaminated area with salt and rub in a little. Then I pour boiling water over it and wash it using the usual method.
