The rotary handle or flag is removed from the tap. Then the diameter of the rod is measured. A sealing rubber is selected for it. It can be removed from a broken crane axle box. Next, you need to select a nut a size larger than the diameter of the rod. In this case it is 10.5 mm, and the nut is M12. It needs to be chamfered from the inside on one side. This is done with a large drill. An elastic band is put on the rod, a nut chamfered down, a washer, and then everything is tightened with a standard screw, which was used to fasten the removed flag.
