Puffed rice
This is a very unusual delicacy, both in taste and preparation. We only need two ingredients:
Required ingredients for preparation:
-Two glasses of round, selected and pure rice
-Refined vegetable oil.
Process for making puffed rice:
1. Rice must be boiled for 20-25 minutes in plenty of water. The rice should be slightly overcooked, but the grains should not stick together. Drain the water through a colander. Let the water drain. Place the rice on a paper towel or napkins and let dry.
2. Take a baking tray in the oven. Place parchment paper or baking paper on it. We spread our boiled rice in one layer and put it in the oven for 1.5-2 hours at a temperature of 110-70 degrees Celsius. The rice should be completely dry.
3. Next, take a frying pan. Pour a little vegetable oil into it so that the rice floats in it a little. Heat the frying pan with oil to normal frying temperature but not until the oil smokes.
4. Add our dry rice in small portions. The rice immediately begins to swell. Immediately remove it and place it on napkins or a paper towel, let the excess oil drain and be absorbed into the napkin.
