How to pay 30% less when heating your home with electricity
Energy companies provide electricity to the public at several tariff rates. If your home is heated using electricity, then by collecting the necessary documents, you can connect to a special reduced tariff. This will save 30% on electricity bills. Let's look at how to do this.
Required documents:
- Extract from the state register of the Unified State Register of Real Estate;
- permanent or temporary registration in a house in which a special tariff is connected;
- technical passport for a residential building (can be obtained from the BTI);
- certificate of absence of gas supply at home;
- passport of the electrical appliance used for heating.
Reduced fare registration process
The tariff can only be connected to a house without gas supply, in which you have permanent or temporary registration. A certificate of absence of gasification can be obtained from the gas company serving your area or the village administration. Please note that it is valid for 2 months, so it is better to order it last.
You will also need a technical passport for the house.If you have an unregistered new building, then contact the BTI. The production time for a registration certificate for a home is approximately 2 weeks.

The energy company will set your social norm for energy consumption, which will be subject to a reduced tariff. Anything over the limit will be charged at the regular price. If you're lucky, registration directly with the energy company will take only 1 day. All documents from the list can be obtained free of charge, with the exception of the registration certificate for the house. Thus, by investing time, you can pay 30% less for electricity.
