Homemade hand wash solution
When you do a little laundry, you don’t want to force the washing machine to work almost idle. But I’m not eager to work with my hands either. I prefer a simpler recipe, which will play the role of a lifesaver in such cases.
Ingredients for a five-liter container:
- two tablespoons of soda;
- three each - liquid (or finely grated laundry) soap and ammonia.
How and what to do:
It is not necessary to boil everything for this process; you just need very hot water in which I dilute the components indicated in the list.
Naturally, much more liquid was needed than five liters. By increasing its dose, I naturally add the amount of other components.
I pour the resulting solution onto dirty pillowcases, duvet covers, and sheets.
I keep them in a basin until the water cools completely.
I liked the fact that I didn’t have to rub anything and soap each item separately. The result also met expectations to some extent.
Of course, the old underwear did not acquire a snow-white hue. But it also washed out well.But the light, mostly colored bed linen has noticeably freshened up.
