Everlasting Rose

To achieve this goal, many embark on a long journey through an endless string of stores, hoping to find that very “zest” among the shelves and departments. However, it should be noted that stores supply goods in unlimited quantities, so there is a high probability that several dozen more people will buy a similar item. What kind of individuality can we talk about in this case?
Reflecting on this topic, I realized: how good it is to create exquisite and unique things with your own hands! In this case, “fate is in your hands,” because you, based on your taste and preferences, choose the color scheme, material, and size. You don't have to buy what you have. You yourself are a supplier and a buyer at the same time.
That is why I urge you, dear ladies: create, take risks, try! Only in this case will you be able to achieve certain success! And the result of your work will please not only you, but also the people around you.
In this article I want to tell you step by step how to make a leather decoration, which I called “The Everlasting Rose”. For work we will need the following materials:
Pieces of white and ivory leather, a punch, a heat gun, six links of a chain, a purchased clasp for a brooch, a candle, tweezers, scissors.

Any creative work begins with a sketch and cutting out all the details.
1. Make templates for leaves. We will need leaves of different sizes and shapes.

2. Using the resulting patterns, we cut out leaves in the required quantity from white leather.
3. To add delicacy, we punch holes in the leaves using punches. For part (3) we use a ǿ1mm punch. , maintaining a distance from the edge of the sheet to the center of the hole of 2 mm.
4. For parts (1. and 2.), use a punch ǿ1 to make holes along the edges and then fill the inside with holes ǿ3 mm.
5. Punch hole ǿ1 in the parts (4) on one side. We pull the finished chain links through this hole. Next, set aside the finished parts and start making the rose.

6. To make the flower, we use leather of the same color, but with different degrees of color saturation.
7. Making the core. We cut out a 20mm ×80mm rectangle from white leather, fold it in half, and, rolling it in the shape of a snail, fix the edge with glue.
8. According to the attached pattern, cut out the petals and process them over a candle flame.

9. We assemble the flower. We glue four petals (detail 5) to the core with the inner side, the so-called “bakhtarma,” to form a small bud.

Continuing to form the bud, glue the remaining petals, applying glue to their front side. In this case, each subsequent petal should overlap slightly with the previous one.
