Beautiful bookmark
Anyone who likes to read books knows that a convenient bookmark is very important. It should not be too big, but not too small either. Many people like a bookmark to be not just practical, but also interesting. This master class will teach everyone who loves books and knows how to crochet how to make an original and fun “Cat” bookmark.
The color of the bookmark can be different, as you like. I decided not to experiment too much and knitted a simple black and white cat. It required:
- white and black threads, I took acrylic - it is not fussy and fits comfortably;
- hook number suitable for the thickness of the thread;
- scissors and needle and thread.

First of all, we need to tie the cat's body. It consists of two circles of different diameters - one is slightly smaller than the other. So that there is no unattractive hole in the middle of each circle, we start knitting them with an Amigurumi loop.

We tie the Amigurumi loop with five single crochets and pull the “tail” of the ball so that the first and last loop we made are connected into a small circle.We tie the columns to each other with a connecting loop, and we begin to knit our circle in width. In order for the “pancake” to spread out without waves, you need to add five loops to each new row, distributing them evenly along the row. You get these two circles.

I left a small tail of thread near one circle and used it to tie the parts together. This can also be done with a thread and a needle.

Next we begin to make the “fur” of the cat. We tie it around the entire perimeter with black thread.

The second row of black yarn includes the cat's paws. To knit them, you need to make eight air loops, then knit two double crochets and one connecting loop into the sixth. It turns out to be such a pillow.

Then we knit three air loops and, firstly, we again knit two double crochets and a connecting loop. We got two pillows. We knit the third in the same way as the second, only there will be not three air loops, but two.

We knit all the other legs in the same way. The “legs” should be slightly longer than the “handles,” so start them not with eight chain loops, but with ten. When the paws are in place, you can start working on the ears. We knit them with white thread. We make six single crochets - this is the first row.

We narrow each subsequent row until the eye becomes sharp. We do the second one in exactly the same way. Try to make the ears the same. It turns out to be such a wonderful bookmark.
